Post Conference Workshop - Culinary Tourism Workshop
This is a half day, in-person culinary tourism workshop. Topics include:
1 - Understanding culinary tourism best practices, trends and importance.
2 - How to characterize culinary tourists and understand their interests and motivators.
3 - Recongnize the place of food businesses and tourism operators in the Culinary Tourism Value Chain.
4 - Describe the characteristics of a memorable culinary experience and how to use these to enhance visitor experience.
5 - Learn to tell the taste of place story of Nunavut.
6 - Ideals for local food sourcing and menu development.
